Team Delta have opened a big lead on the medal’s table at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival in Ogun State.
Th defending champions won gold 10 medals on Saturday to open up an unassailable lead over their biggest rivals, Bayelsa.
Delta have so far amassed 44 gold, 19 silver, and 40 bronze medals.
Former leaders Team Bayelsa remain in second position with 33 gold , 23, silver and 23 bronze medals.

Team Rivers are third on the table with 26 gold , 21 silver , and 26 bronze medals.
Hosts Ogun continued their impressive performance maintaining fourth position with 25 gold, 16 silver, and 24 gold medals.
Oyo completes the top five having garnered 16 gold , 17 silver , and 21 bronze medals.
Team Abia made the biggest leap to ninth position with six gold, eight silver, and 21 bronze medals.
